The Gateway Youth Aeronautical Foundation's mission is to inspire youth interest in aviation. The goal is to be that “one event experience” that proves to be pivotal in changing a youth’s life forever. The Foundation attracts and nourishes that interest in aviation with actual aircraft cockpits, virtual reality flight simulation, group STEM activities and flight opportunities provided through the EAA Young Eagles Program. The Gateway Youth Aeronautical Foundation was incorporated as a Missouri Nonprofit Corporation officially in December of 2019 and has received IRS tax-exempt status. The Foundation relies on the financial generosity of sponsors and donors so that individual cost is never a prerequisite for youth to participate in activities provided by the Foundation.

We serve young men based on their ability to succeed, rather than their economic circumstances. Through a rigorous academic program, we help our students develop critical minds and a life-long devotion to learning that informs moral choices and transforms lives.
In addition to assisting in the intellectual, aesthetic, social, and physical formation of our students, we help them develop compassionate hearts by fostering habits of personal prayer, reflection, and service for the Greater Glory of God.

As one of the largest therapeutic residential treatment programs in Missouri, Marygrove is a new beginning for children, teens, and young adults who call our campus their home. The youth at Marygrove live and grow in a safe, nurturing environment, and have opportunity to heal in a stable, family-like setting. Professional caregivers provide compassion, encouragement, and structure while therapists provide individualized treatment plans and counseling to help each child overcome personal obstacles and establish responsible, attainable goals for the short and long-term future.
Marygrove enriches the lives of hundreds of youth each year, ages birth-21, through a broad continuum of residential and community-based programming and wraparound services, including therapeutic residential treatment and foster care, transitional and independent living, special education and recreational therapy, family counseling, and parenting education. Trauma-informed care is the foundation of all Marygrove treatment. Through this approach, Marygrove helps mitigate adverse childhood experiences while preventing future homelessness and trauma. Using a Positive Youth Development framework, our youth are consistently supported in identifying their strengths and using their skills toward personal growth, development, and success.

Food and Staples – We pick up items such as bread, canned goods, cookies, sweets and other food products from stores and restaurants, and deliver them to our clients who in turn, help feed the hungry.
Clothing – We collect clothing from businesses and private donors, separate them by size, and deliver them to organizations for distribution to the needy.
Personal Care Items – We accept shampoo, deodorant, soaps, toilet paper and lotion. These items are not covered by food stamps and greatly help those in need.
Travel size toiletry items – We make Ziploc bags for homeless outreach programs which include travel sized toiletries. We accept those items as donations and supplement what we are given to provide the bags.
Computers – We collect laptop computers less than 5 years old for the St. Louis Federal Probation Office Reach Higher program. The Reach Higher program provides laptops to ex-offenders who are working to pursue their degree in vocational programs, colleges or universities.
Monetary Donations – Funds donated are used to buy food, staples and personal care items on a monthly basis. We maximize our resources by purchasing in bulk at discount prices. Through your generosity and our work, together we help the elderly in need, children in crisis, and homeless adults.
